Which one of the door will you open???

Which one of this door will you open? Money, Luck or is it Love?

Which one is more important? Which door will you open? Think for a moment and reply...Is it Money or you believe in Fate instead? Are you inclining towards LOVE? Do you think Love is everything? So, tell me which one do you choose??? Is it MONEY? Is it LUCK or it's simply LOVE ?

Here, I remember that popular statement we used to write in slam books when we were in school: Money: "Money is something but not everything". I still don't remember why we used to think that way, when we even didn't know What money exactly is? I again remember those days when we used to have debates on Fate/Luck Vs Karma/Work and every time those who speak in favour of Karma grabbed more points. So, what left? Love? A bit difficult question now..! Love is something really divine, it's something that you feel and can't express in words. Love makes your life worth living. Love is magic. Love is beyond definition.....
But, deep down inside, I am sad to share this, I recently got to read:

"Falling in love may feel like a meeting of hearts and minds. But in reality it's a kind of temporary insanity driven by hormones." scientists say. Julia Stuart reports ! now What?

Let me ask you again... so which one of this door will you open? Money, Luck or is it Love?

I myself am in dilemma... I am lying down on my bed right at the moment... I am in pain....It is extremely difficult to pass time like this. I am depressed. I am frustrated. Doctor warned: I shouldn't walk, I shouldn't talk much and most of all I shouldn't eat what I want. My mind has become dumb, body feels numb ...and there's only feeling of pain flowing in my mind...!!!

So, let me ask you one more time...which one of this door will you open? Money, Luck or is it Love?

A line which I used to read in school, "Health is Wealth" is revolving in my head. I never took this statement seriously. I never ate what I had to eat. I never took rest when I had to take. I ran for "Money, I tried to grab Luck and I searched for Love'. But, all I feel is empty handed now....I regret, I never had time to myself...I never realized I am equally important, I never realized Health is Wealth in real terms....and now I am lying on bed helpless...!

Money can't bring back my time that I spent on lying like this, Luck nor can and Love did not cure/conquer my disease...So, I got an answer as which one is important for not only me but for you too?Have you ever thought how Healthy is your Health??? You must be thinking, money is treating me, you must be thinking luck is helping me to live. But I question myself, if I were healthy, I wouldn't be needing this freaking money, if luck was in favour, I wouldn't be this torn ever....

So, let me ask you one more time...which one of this door will you open? Money, Luck or is it Love?

and if it's about me Health comes first !!!

So, here I repeat: Health is Wealth - Preserve it ! Take good care of your body, after all it is the only one you have got. Once again, right now you may feel that this will not bother you at all, but at some point it is going to take a strain on your body and by then it will be too late....

Think before it's too late or shall I once again ask: Which one of this door will you open? Money, Luck or is it Love?

that Traffic Police didi...

Oh that lady traffic police !!!

I never miss to see that traffic police didi while coming to office. The chaotic traffic, horns and honks, hundreds thousands of people and that strong simple lady !

It's raining cats and dogs but you see her standing tall,  it's a windy day and she's still doing her job. The scorching sun is bothering me here but see she still is blowing her whistle there.

I salute her and for her energy, for her determination and for her dedication towards the general public. I say real Iron lady to her.

Pedestrians are walking without following the signals, drivers are rarely following the traffic rules. Many drivers/riders are overtaking from both the sides, and violating the lane disciplines. The speed of the vehicles you see always high on roads that are often in bad shape with a  pothole. But that bold lady, I see trying really hard to make them follow the traffic rules. She shouts, she screams and when needed she cuts the cheat sheets. Oh that real Iron lady, Oh that traffic police didi.... !!!

I wonder how many of you have an idea about the facilities she, like other lady traffic police is getting from Nepal Government? I have heard lady traffic police have no enough place to live in. Not even separate restrooms to rest. Recently one of the national publication published an article regarding this and nothing has been done yet. I had a thought and that says, we spend so much amount in women empowerment, leadership and equality but when it comes to grassroot level, it never reaches.

I speak, Why are we serving those "useless 601 Constitution Assembly(CA) members for this long and Why are these real heroes go invisible instead? We hear Prachanda's new residence was purchased for Rs. 103 millions, Prakash his son posted in his facebook that it was leased for Nrs. 60,000 per month. Whatever it is, but why aren't we concerned about those traffic policemen's place to reside yet.

My another confusion, I wonder how much these traffic police are paid for their performance because working in field, ignoring the weather, and tackling hundred thousands of people directly is not an easy task and let's not forget traffic police themselves are not secure too. I remember an incident when a lady traffic police was hit by a bike and ran away: Please refer : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Czzp487qEFg&feature=player_embedded ....you will gasp for a minute.

So, let's think about these traffic policemen for a second and start respecting them as their dedication towards the mankind is beyond price. Three Cheers to that Traffic police didi , Three Cheers to the entire Traffic Policemen !

GeNeRaTiOn NeXt !

And I say Oh My Lord this is Generation Next!

I remember it was a cold gloomy morning; I was sipping my coffee and flipping the pages of newspaper. Suddenly my cousin brother came running.  7 years old that little chap was asking me to help him open his facebook account. I was astonished at first and then I asked him the reason Why? Afterall that little kid doesn’t even know how to write about him in more than four sentences and he wants a facebook account ! OMG!

He stared at me as if he is my senior and within a fraction of second I can see that unique smile of him. His cute dimples on both sides looked flawless.  I bet that innocent face can successfully manipulate any creature of this world.  He then replied: “Dijju everybody has it in my class and they want me to join in too. We can talk in facebook and can even put pictures of our school picnic”. Oh my God was the first thing I uttered. What do you expect me to answer him now? I was really surprised. I said Ok will do that in the afternoon. He nodded his head and grabbed my cell phone. He knows how to unlock it, go to application and find his best game to play.

And I say Oh My Lord this is Generation Next!

My 7 years old brother shared an incident last night. His classmate wrote a letter to a friend of him and she was detained. I had a rough idea in my mind already but was so anxious to know what was written there so hurriedly asked: “So What was written there in that letter hmm? ”  “I love you Dhruv”. “She had also brought some chocolates to give him“ He replied. Now, this gave me goose bumps . I couldn’t response for a second. “Do you know What love is babu?” was my question to him and don’t ask what he did? He was too shy to answer, so he ran away to get his glass of milk.

And I say Oh My Lord this is Generation Next!

Having said all, I  am scared, I am worried. Who to blame for these little minds? While parents strive to teach their children about independence, they should never cease to forget that the kids need to be under their benevolent watch at all times. Parents need to step up and take responsibility for their kids, afterall "AS YOU SOW SHALL YOU REAP" !

and my sister got married !

To the outside world, we all grow old. But not to brothers and sisters. We know each other as we always were. We know each other's hearts. We share private family jokes. We remember family feuds and secrets, family griefs and joys. We live outside the touch of time. - Clara Ortega

Two and half years elder than me, I would describe her as a charismatic person. Extremely straight forward, zero diplomatic, reckless spender, a food lover and too kiddish at times describe my sister better.

I grew up seeing her ambition for studying and working hard. I always remember, she writing a "R.J, Radio Jockey" as her ambition in everybody's slam book at school. She used to mimic like a RJ and used to ask us questions as if we are her listeners.  And today, she is one of the most popular RJ in town. Her passion for achieving her ambition has always taught me that through hard work anything is possible. The trick is not just to feel passionately about your job, but to act passionately too. If you act passionately, you won't sit passively is the "mantra" she always shared with me.

I admit I am blessed to have her in my life...

That curve in her lips never fades away and always inspires others to live life every single day. Though two years older than me, I still remember those school days when I used to comb her hair, iron her dress, polish her shoes and arrange her geometry box before going to school... and yes some of those habits of her did not change and till date she asks me once before she plans to get anything new that comes her way.....

Again, I admit I am blessed to have her in my life...

The day when her wedding date was fixed, I felt something very strange. That feeling of separation couldn't let me sleep. I wondered if she could handle all those responsibilities with the same smile on her face? I wondered if she could adjust in the new environment with the same grace? I wondered if she could transform his house into a home with the same charm she puts on every single day? After all they taught us marriage in not just about marrying a guy, it's marrying his whole family. It's not just about making him happy, it's about how you please every single person over there. But, the fact that she is marrying the person she loved always brought my smile back.

It was February 7th, the D'day! From taking her to the beauty parlor to the wedding procession, I was shivering and I was more nervous. I looked at my Dad's and Mom's sulky face, my brother's distressed pace and I looked at my sister's grace. Her grace and glowing face was undoubtedly the Best ! The whole wedding procession she lived with a big bright smile and now it was that unbearable time, the emotional time, the time to wave her hands to her birthplace, the time to bid adieu to her dad, mom, sister, brother and her adorable bruno. Tears rolled down and words struck. It was actually unbearable. It was actually intolerable........!!!

Today it has almost been a month and a half  and we still are flipping those wedding albums, we still are shuffling the wedding video and still our eyes get wet looking at the ending part. However, what matters is her smile and "touch-wood" she is absolutely happy with her hubby dear in her new beginning and we are extremely glad looking at her smiling face.....!!!

and yes I should repeat :  We are blessed to have her in our life... !!!

When heart breaks !

They passed their primary level together from the same school and now it was time to bid adeiu !! Hers was a convent and he joined a Co-Ed . Time passed by and so were the days of two with their own group of friends....!! No communication as there wasn't any means nor were any known feelings.

But as they say - if it's destiny it will happen no matter what ! That he was giving away his old exercise books to a kabadi wala ,and a phone number striked his eyes, it was 'her' land line number ....and that's when this story begins !!!

She(Rashi) was a simple, studious, innocent and an extremely polite character, often known as Daddy's Girl among her friends circle. Overly protective child of her parents and least bothered about the world. She was within her own cocoon. He(Kiran) on the other hand was an introvert, mischievous and mysterious at the same time.

That was a bright sunny day, Rashi got a call. It was Kiran on the other side. Absolutely glad to hear each other after such a long span of time, they talked for hours that day and it continued for many more months but they never met. Kiran was trying for his abroad studies and before he moved he wanted to see his childhood crush Rashi. He asked her to meet but Rashi humbly denied and he didn't force too.

It was almost a month they haven't called each other. Tensed and perplexed Rashi couldn't resist and for the first time, picked up the receiver and called him up.
Rashi: Hello! May I talk to Kiran?
Kiran's Mom: He has already flied to U.S.A
Rashi: But when?
Kiran's Mom: Today morning.

Rashi regretted, scolded herself and was completely down. She thought she should apologize and hurriedly signed in to email, but to her amusement, her inbox was showing Kiran's email at this side. They continued to share their words via emails. The internet proved to be a trustworthy bridge thereafter. Another year passed by and their friendship was still the same.

This was the day of his return flight. Kiran was back to his motherland. After a week they finally managed to meet. His looks hadn't changed much, tall, lean, short hair and in a checkered shirt he looked sexy. She was cleanly dressed, wavy long hair and no make ups, looked absolutely adorable. Kiran was sure that he loved this girl at his first sight but couldn't dare to utter a single word. Extremely diplomatic lad used to give her the hints, but those words never created any miracle. Rashi still had no clue. Their decent friendship couldn't changed it's track even after so many years. That night Kiran couldn't take a nap. With his red puffy eyes he was waiting for the sun to rise and his mind had already created a garland of words to be expressed infront of Rashi the other day...

It was drizzling. They were walking down the street. The weather itself was very romantic. Kiran couldn't have another better time to pour his heart out. With all his heart, with all his soul, with all his mind, he finally expressed his love towards her. He assured her that she is the only girl he had ever loved and will be loving forever. Rashi was quiet, patiently listening every bit of his word, trying to understand and respond but was finding it too hard to express. She couldn't agree nor she denied. He dropped her home but returned back without any answer. Days, weeks, months passed. They were still walking together, she was still clueless, perplexed and without any answer. He was still waiting and their friendship still growing....

After a year of patience, eventually friendship started to blossom into love in Rashi's heart. She was all happy to feel something new that was going in her mind and heart. Every morning she used to wake up thinking about that one name and the same name repeats before she took a nap. Love between two childhood friends was divine. However, Rashi still was not spilling a word. Kiran was still waiting for that perfect day to start. Deep inside their hearts, they knew they feel for each other but words failed to pop up every single time.

Kiran dropped her home wishing to see her tomorrow in the same place as usual. She waved her hand and wished the same. The next day she called him up but the cell phone was switched off. She tried again that day, the next day and the next day and the next day.... but the cell was still switched off. Eighteen days passed by but no responses from Kiran. Rashi was frustrated.

He would rather lose his eyes than not see her; he would rather lose his life than desert her but now it was all in vain.

Looking out the balcony of her room, the clear, blue skies and beautiful sunset looked absolutely serene. Suddenly, her phone buzzed and it distracted her state of mind. It was his message. " I lost my phone and was busy with some personal work. You take care. I will meet you soon." Another week passed by.

One evening Kiran called Rashi. He asked her to meet him in the evening. Rashi was on cloud nine. She was delighted. She was sparkling. She was overjoyed. She dressed up and was all set to meet him. Today she was going to reply him back. She was going to accept his proposal. She was searching the best words to say "I love you too". It was 5 in the evening and she saw him after so long. The charm was missing somewhere, he had put on his cap which she never liked, he sounded rude, he was not the same Kiran which she knew since her childhood. Before she uttered a word, she was .....shattered. " Can we become best friends? I will be sharing every bit of my stuff with you like before but...but....no other relationship is possible...I cannot become your partner for life." Tears rolled down her cheeks. Words stuck. Heartbeat stopped for a while. She couldn't believe what she heard just now. She was completely traumatized. She forgot about the busy road, the crowd was almost invisible. She ran home crying.

It was raining cats and dogs. She couldn't sleep the whole night. The echo of thunder was intolerable. She was trying to recall what had happened, not just what had happened that evening but all those times they spent together came as a flashback. She still couldn't figure it out, What and Why did he say so? " My god mother, my aunt doesn't want our relationship, so please forgive me. I know I have to pay for your tears, but I just can't help it. Please forgive me" These were the only words that was haunting her. All those promises vanished within a second. She couldn't forgive herself for believing that coward. She tried calling him but the cell was switched off. She tried again and again but he did not respond.

A man who had assured a girl that he could fight with the world to make her happy was lost somewhere. Deep inside her heart she knew whatever he told was just an excuse. He did not share the truth with her. He did not reveal the fact. There was something else that was stopping him to move on....... there was something else....there was something hidden....there was some untold story that had placed a full stop to a new beginning....

Weeks, months and years passed by but there were no replies, there was no response... answers still missing, answers yet to reveal, answers yet to be disclosed !!!

To be continued ....

my first step...!

Jotting down in my thick personal diary was one of my routine job since a long.  I have always believed in pouring my heart out rather than piling up my words and feelings in a corner of my heart and mind . You ask me about my first crush to my first salary experience, I have it all expressed in my own words. My thick personal diary was supposed to be my best friend at some point of time. No judgement, no analysis but patient ears to bear...and that was the reason why I felt my diary as the most comfort zone.

It was quite exciting when I first heard about the Blog. A personal journal published on world wide web was something very alluring to my ears and i actually couldn't stop myself from trying one and here I am giving it a very first shot. I am enthralled because my words will have voice now. Neither I am a good writer nor am I trying to become, it's just about my random words which will have their own world ! So, expect a normal girl with simple thoughts expressing her own experiences in her own words :)
